On Monday the teachers held a whole school assembly when the year 6 children planted the legacy tree which was awarded to the school by the Woodland Trust. Over the following days every child at the school planted their very own tree which they will nurture through their school life and then pass on to future cohorts. To end the celebrations of National Tree Week and to mark Tree Dressing day, on Friday, the children all dressed trees in the school grounds to brighten up the trees that have lost their leaves for winter and to show how important they are.
The children at Antingham and Southrepps Primary School really appreciate the trees in the school grounds and the woods opposite the school and how vital the protection of trees is for their own and future generations.
