What parents need to know about Supporting Children's Mental Health
Opening up about mental health with children isn’t always easy. Deciding where to start or how to approach the subject may not come naturally and avoidance may creep in which can potentially make a problem worse. This year's Children’s Mental Health Week is all about ‘finding your brave’, whether that be sharing worries, asking for help or just building confidence, self-esteem and looking after yourself. But talking about mental health doesn’t always come effortlessly and sometimes we need a helping hand.
Created by mental health and wellbeing expert, Anna Bateman, this guide aims to give parents a starting point to help encourage discussions around children’s mental health. Covering a range of points, the guide looks to give parents simple ways to help make children feel more comfortable in sharing their own worries and concerns and providing the support they may need. Click the button below to access your free guide now...

September Return to School to School Plan: Latest Information

'This autumn we are unfortunately unable to hold an open evening for prospective students and their families in the traditional fashion. We really want to show you what makes our school so special and successful and so we will be launching an online 'virtual prospectus', from Wednesday 14th October, through our school website. Details and a web link will be communicated shortly. We hope you'll join us as we release new content each week, up to half term, showcasing the ways in which Stalham High School maintains a strong reputation for academic success, student support and community engagement.'
